Dublin and Ireland have never had a shortage of artistic icons but, sometimes, an artist such as Aloysius O'Kelly slips through the net and doesn't get the recognition they deserve.

However, Niamh O'Sullivan's recent biography 'Art, Nation, Empire' has gone some way to reintroducing O'Kelly's work to a new audience. We were thrilled to play a very small role in the process by designing this revelatory book. The pairing of a refined layout and the artist's striking images has resulted in an important, aesthetically pleasing, piece that acquaints O'Kelly's work with a new audience.
