The Quick and the Dead

Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, houses one of Ireland's most impressive collections of modern and contemporary art. Their exhibition 'The Quick and the Dead' provided us with an opportunity to design a unique supporting catalogue for the event.

Being respectful of the content of the artists' work, we tried not to interfere in the relationship between the art and the reader - giving the paintings full expression instead. The palette of muted greens and blues complemented the images throughout and the foil-blocked dust jacket gave the catalogue a stylish and memorable finish.
