There is accounting for taste after all!

A great night was had by all at the Published Accounts Awards ceremony in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel last Friday night. The Awards, presented by Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society and sponsored by the Irish Stock Exchange, reward organisations for excellence in financial reporting. We’ve had some success at these ceremonies in the past and can happily report that this year was another good year for us and – more importantly – our clients, with five Red Dog projects among the 25 shortlisted nominees. Ultimately three of our clients got to take home an award:

Kingspan
Branding, Communication & Marketing Award
We were delighted to hear that the judges made specific reference to the tactile aspect of the cover and the attention throughout to the design and finishes. This was the first Annual Report that we designed for Kingspan and we’ve already started the preliminary work on their 2017 Report. (click here to see 2016 Report)

Dalata
Small/Medium Sized Companies – Main Securities Market
This was three-in-a-row for Dalata and, again, we’re currently working on Dalata’s 2017 Report. Additionally, we’re continuing to work on developing new positioning for both Clayton and Maldron hotels. (click here to see Report)

Clúid Housing
Category: Large Not-For-Profit
This was Clúid’s first win at the Published Account Awards. However, their Annual Reports have been recognised at other award ceremonies in recent years so it’s very nice to add the Published Accounts Awards to their list of successes. (click here to see Report)

We’d like to send our warmest congratulations to the winners and our thanks to the Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society for a great night. Annual Reports continue to be a significant part of our design offering, with many of our clients here and in the United States returning to us year after year. In fact, we’re currently designing out 20th (yes – twentieth!) Concern Annual Report.
